The jury in the trial of a woman who worked for glamour model Jordan was discharged yesterday.

Joanne Hillman, 34, is accused of claiming benefits for nearly two years while employed as a groom for the reality star.

A court official said the jury was dismissed after Judge Charles Kemp expressed concerns that the defendant would not receive a fair trial.

Reports

This followed reports of comments by the 29-year-old model, real name Kate Price, giving her evidence that Hillman had stolen from her.

Lewes Crown Court heard Hillman was never charged in connection with the allegations.

Hillman, of Brighton, denies three counts of failing to give prompt notification of a change of circumstances contrary to the Social Security Administration Act 1992.

A retrial is expected to take place in March.
